Tej Pratap ends game of hide-and-seek, in Delhi for brother Tejashwi’s birthday

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s elder son and former health minister Tej Pratap Yadav who has been missing since the past five days has finally disclosed his whereabouts to India Today TV and said that he is in the national capital today to celebrate his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav’s birthday.

Tejashwi, who turns 29 today, has been in Delhi for the last three days and Tej Pratap reached the city last night to celebrate his birthday.

“I am in Delhi today and I have come here to celebrate Tejashwi’s birthday”, said Tej Pratap Yadav in an exclusive telephonic interview to India Today TV.

Tej Pratap also denied the fact that he had been missing and asserted that he was continuously in touch with his family.

“It’s only the media which is bothered about me and my location. All these days I have been continuously in touch with my family”, said the RJD leader.

However, Tej Pratap refused to divulge further details about himself or speak on his divorce petition.

Go, Gaya, Gone

Ever since he filed for divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai in the family court in Patna, he has invited the wrath of his family members with mother Rabri Devi, father Lalu Prasad and elder sister Misa Bharti disapproving his decision.

In fact, after the news of his filing for divorce from Aishwarya came to light, Tej Pratap went to Ranchi to meet his ailing father in the hospital and informed him of his decision.

Despite Lalu asking him to reconsider his decision, Tej Pratap remained undeterred and said that at no cost will he take back his divorce application.

While returning from Ranchi to Patna Tej Pratap halted in Gaya and eluded his security personnel and went missing. Tej Pratap’s security personnel were also clueless as to whereabouts, sending the Bihar Police into a tizzy.

Thereafter, Tej Pratap, along with his driver, is said to have gone to Varanasi and offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. However, the Varanasi police had denied his presence in the holy city. Reports also suggested that from Varanasi he had gone to Mathura and Vrindavan.
