Soon after launching the Galaxy J6, Galaxy J8, Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ phones, Samsung has launched another budget phone, the Galaxy On6, in India for Rs 14,490.
The Galaxy On6 has been seemingly designed to take on other budget and mid-tier offerings from companies like Xiaomi, Honor and Asus, on the back of a couple features never seen before in Samsung’s affordable line-up. This includes Samsung’s proprietary Infinity display and latest Android Oreo software. The phone also comes with a Chat-over-Video feature, that Samsung says, has been designed in India for India.
“At Samsung, our constant endeavour is to bring meaningful innovation in our products and services that can truly add value to the lives of consumers. Sporting Samsung’s signature Infinity display, the Galaxy On6 is a stunning device with state-of-the-art hardware and software features. Packed with brand new ‘Make for India’ innovations such as ‘Chat-Over-Video’, My Galaxy Video and Samsung Pay Mini, Galaxy On6 is a perfect companion for multi-taskers,” Sandeep Singh Arora, vice president, Online Business, Samsung India said.
