With state assembly elections just round the corner, PM Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah will address over seven lakh party workers in the Gujarat Gaurav Yatra Samapan Mahasammelan on Monday.
Senior BJP netas said all seven lakh of its workers in the state and ‘page pramukhs’ (electoral roll in-charge) from all 182 assembly constituencies would attend the event at Bhat village on the outskirts of Ahmedabad to make it one of the largest party worker meetings held by BJP.
BJP state chief Jitu Vaghani said, “PM Modi, Amit Shah, CM Vijay Rupani, and deputy CM Nitin Patel will address the country’s largest party gathering in Ahmedabad on October 16. This will not only be historical in the context of Gujarat but also in the context of the country.”
Praising the Gaurav Yatra of Gujarat BJP, Vaghani said, “Throughout our 15-day Gaurav Yatra we have received tremendous response. We’ve made arrangements for 10 lakh persons at the gathering.”
