NCP MP warns of bigger violence if Maratha quota not framed in time

Udayanraje Bhosale is the 13th descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and  NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) MP speaking to media at a press conference attacked both the ruling BJP party as well as the opposition parties for not solving the Maratha quota issue.

Udayanraje warned all of the elected representatives across political parties to act swiftly in giving the Maratha quota reservation otherwise the situation will get out of control and will result in a violence bigger than what is expected.

Udayanraje said, “Either allot the quota within a set time frame or tell the public that you will keep it prolonging for next 30 years but don’t misled different communities like Maratha, Dhangar, Muslim ..etc”

Udayanraje has urged the backward class commission to submit its report to the high court on Maratha reservation as soon as possible.

The Maratha leader said he will soon be meeting Maratha community representatives and decide the future plan of action in the Maratha reservation agitation.

He also appealed to the government to withdraw any case filed against protestors for causing violence in the Maratha reservation agitation.

“The way this government has acted swiftly in reinstating atrocity act…same promptness should be shown while dealing with Maratha and other community reservations,” said Udayanraje.
