A report by Pakistani publication Tribune said that Nawaz Sharif is on the verge of a kidney failure. A medical board has recommended his immediate trasfer to a hospital from Adiala Jail.

The medical board said that the jail’s hospital doesn’t have the necessary facilities to treat Nawaz Sharif.

Doctors who examined Nawaz Sharif in jail said he is suffering from dehydration, blood urea has increased to dangerous levels, heart rate has increased and must be shifted to a hospital immediately, news agency ANI said quoting Pakistani media outlets.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif were arrested in Lahore on July 13. The father-daughter duo was returning to Pakistan from London for the first time after being convicted in the Avenfield property case.
