Hafiz Saeed continues opening his party offices in Pakistan despite govt ban

Global terrorist and Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed along with Abdul Rehman Makki began their election campaign for their political wing Milli Muslim League (MML) in Islamabad amid showers of rose petals.

After inaugurating election office both the leaders announced that they would field candidates nationwide for general elections in Pakistan this year.

Pakistan interior ministry has already refused to register MML as a political party. It has requested a court in Islamabad not to consider Saeed-backed MML’s plea seeking its registration as a political party.

In spite of this, Hafiz Saeed went ahead to inaugurate an election office late night on Thursday in Islamabad for his candidate Chaudhary Sayeed Ahmed Gujjar from NA 153 Constituency.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Election Commission have twice rejected Milli Muslim League’s applications to register it as a political party, just weeks before the general election, scheduled to be held on July 25.

Since Election Commission of Pakistan has refused to grant Hafiz Saeed’s political outfit MML necessary permission to contest the general elections in Pakistan, MML is now fielding JuD sponsored candidates as independents.

Both Hafiz Saeed and Abdul Rehman Makki who have been designated as global terrorists were seen inaugurating the election offices in Islamabad area which falls under NA 53 constituency of Pakistan’s National Assembly.

When it looks like the entire Pakistan government is apparently against the political ambition of Hafiz Saeed, a wanted terrorist is daring the government by launching his party programmes and offices, refuting the government’s orders.
