Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO, attacked British driver Vernon Unsworth, who helped rescue 12 boys from a Thai cave, with his “pedo” comment. Unsworth is now thinking of taking legal action against Musk for his uncalled remark.
The two are engaged in a public spat over Musk’s specially designed mini-submarine that he offered to the rescue team but was not used.
Driver Vernon Unsworth was asked about his thoughts on Musk’s “kid-sized” submersible. “He can stick his submarine where it hurts,” Unsworth told CNN in an interview.
Unsworth further called the mini-sub a “PR stunt” by Musk and added that “it had absolutely no chance of working”.
In his interview, he further said the vehicle would never have made it around and through the cave.
Responding to Unsworth’s comment, Musk took to his Twitter account on Sunday where he slammed him in series of tweets by calling Unsworth, without using his name, as “pedo guy”. “Pedo” is short for paedophile.
He then further wrote, “Bet ya a signed dollar it’s true.” However, he laterdeleted the tweets.
