The model turned reality show star has reportedly been booked for posting a fake iPhone ad on her Instagram account by a victim who was a student. A Banglore based student has filed a complaint against Bandgi and two Delhi based companies Different Collection and Nexafation.com.
According to the reports by Deccan Chronicle, the victim named Yuvraj Singh Yadav who follows Bandgi claim s to be cheated by her. According to Yuvraj, the Bigg Boss contestant posted an advertisement on her social media handle which sold iPhone X for Rs 61000.
The victim was quick to book the deal, however, the post was deleted by the accused soon after. The victim filed a complaint against Bandgi Kalra, Different Collection, Nexafation.com and BlueDart courier.
Yuvraj Singh Yadav also has the WhatsApp mobile number from where he booked the phone. As per Yadav’s agreement from the accused, he transferred Rs 13000 to victim’s PayTm account but when he saw the Instagram post deleted on Kalra’s account he became suspicious but the seller assured him about the product delivery.
Yadav got the courier and paid remaining Rs 48000, later only to discover that the package had a dummy phone in it. “We have sent an email to Kalra and have summoned her. Though we are not sure of her exact involvement in the incident, she has promoted the product on her Instagram account. Though she has deleted the post, the victim has submitted the screenshot, Marathahalli Police Inspector Sadiq Pasha told Deccan Chronicle.
“Kalra has over five lakh followers on her Instagram account and we suspect many more people may have got cheated similarly,” he further added. Mr Sadiq Pasha also told that Bandgi Kalra has been given three days to appear before the police and would be arrested if she fails to do so.
